Perfect Paleo Pie Crust

This pie crust is low carb and gluten free- the perfect light and flaky accompaniment to any pie! Almond Flour is made from whole, blanched sweet almonds that pack a good dose of Vitamin E and is naturally low carb! You can’t really beat that can you?

  1. Preheat your oven to 350° F.
  2. Add Almond Flour and salt to food processor and pulse to mix.
  3. Add the coconut oil and egg, then pulse everything together until it forms a ball. It should be about the same consistency as cookie dough.
  4. Place the dough into a 9 inch pie pan and gently press the crust into the pie plate and up the sides. Crimp the edges with a fork if preferred.
  5. Place the pie crust into a 350° oven for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. Fill with your favorite pie filling, bake as directed, and enjoy!
Recipe Notes

This crust can be made in a large mixing bowl if you don't have a food processor.
