Ingredients
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. By Hand: In a mixing bowl, combine warm water (110°F) and yeast and let stand until the yeast dissolves, about 5 minutes. Warm the cream to 90°F and add it to the yeast mixture. Then add oil, slightly beaten egg, Bob’s Red Mill Low-Carb Bread Mix and salt. Combine and knead for 8 – 10 minutes.
  2. Place in a well-greased bowl and turn over to grease the top. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place (85°F) until the dough doubles in size, about 1 hour.
  3. While dough is rising, preheat oven to 400°F; if using, place a baking stone on the middle oven rack. Generously oil a baking sheet with olive oil and set aside.
  4. After dough rises to double, transfer dough to the prepared baking sheet. Roll out or shape with hands in a circular shape to desired thickness (or divide into two smaller pieces), or about ¼- to ½-inch thick. Cover with plastic wrap or a clean dish towel and let rise until doubled in height, 10 - 30 minutes.
  5. Press fingertips into dough to create dimples. Brush with olive oil and season with salt, fresh ground pepper, minced garlic, rosemary or other preferred seasonings. Bake at 400°F until golden brown and hollow-sounding when tapped, about 20 minutes.
