  1. In a food processor, add the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and cumin. Process to combine well. Slowly drizzle the olive oil into the food processor, making the mixture creamy. Add the salt. If you would like the hummus creamier add more olive oil, reserved bean liquid, or water a tablespoon at a time while the food processor is running. Makes approximately 4 cups.

    *Make your own tahini with Natural Brown Sesame Seeds or White Hulled Sesame Seeds.

  1. In a microwave safe bowl with a lid, whisk together water and garbanzo bean flour. Microwave on high for 4 minutes, whisking halfway through.
  2. Combine garbanzo bean flour mixture, garlic, sesame seeds, salt and lemon juice in a blender and puree for 2 minutes.
  3. With the blender running, carefully stream in olive oil. Once all the oil has been added, puree 1 minute.
  4. Refrigerate, covered, for at least one hour. When ready to serve, adjust consistency with additional water if necessary.
