  1. In a medium bowl, combine the oats, flour, baking powder, flaxseed meal, hemp protein powder, blueberries, coconut and almond meal; set aside. Mix together the sugar, vanilla, oil and water. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and stir to combine. Place batter in a greased 9 X 13 inch pan and pat down. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Cut into bars. Makes 16 bars.

    Chelsea: Can you substitute the Scottish Oatmeal with rolled wheat flakes, or rolled barley flakes?

      Our Scottish Oatmeal is a granulated cereal and will function more like a flour. If you plan on replacing it, it will be best to replace it with another granulated cereal (Whole Wheat Farina or Barley Grits). Keep in mind that this exchange will change the flavor and texture of the end product.
