  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl; stir.
  3. Add in egg, egg yolk, butter, oil, honey, and vanilla and then stir using an electric mixer until everything is combined.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
  5. Scoop dough out 1 tbsp at a time onto a baking sheet and bake cookies for approximately 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from oven and leave on pan for approximately 3 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. While still warm, drizzle with salted caramel sauce. Enjoy!

    I agree with the previous baker, this recipe should have only about 3/4 cup of butter and coconut oil combined. Be careful not to over-mix the dough. Also, once the dough has been prepared, it should be refrigerated for at least an hour before being baked. I split the batch in 2, and form into long “logs,” wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate. Then it’s easy to slice off cookie-sized pieces of dough to bake.
