Eggnog Blondies

While these blondies won’t require you to purchase a carton of eggnog, the nutmeg and optional brandy or bourbon match the classic eggnog flavors. Try these blondies out on your next holiday cookie platter for a unique alternative to standard brownies and bars.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
  3. Mix together melted butter and sugars. Add egg, brandy or bourbon, and vanilla and mix well. Fold in dry ingredients, then mix in white chocolate chips.
  4. Spread evenly into prepared baking pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25 – 30 minutes. Let cool at least 30 minutes before slicing. Yields one 8x8-inch square pan.
