Down-Home Buckwheat Pancakes

There’s just something about buckwheat pancakes that make you feel at home. We’ve heard a lot of our customers say that enjoying buckwheat pancakes makes reminds them of growing up. We’re all still growing up, aren’t we? So if you don’t already have a nostalgic relationship with buckwheat pancakes, it’s time to make new memories! These pancakes are easy to make and dreamy to eat – we love the robust flavor of buckwheat and molasses. Just mix, griddle, and breakfast is served! (Note that our Buckwheat Flour is not made in our gluten free facility.)

  1. Mix together the first 7 ingredients (buckwheat flour through vegetable oil) just until wet.
  2. Spoon out or ladle out onto a medium hot griddle; cook until bubbles are well-formed around edges of pancakes; turn and cook other side. Serve with warm maple syrup or raw honey and fresh fruit.



    Makes 6 pancakes.
