I made these brownies using Coconut Flour and they were superb!!!

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F; oil a 9x9-inch pan and set aside.
  2. Combine oil or melted butter with cocoa in a large bowl. Let cool if still warm.
  3. Add eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla to the cocoa mixture. Whisk in coconut flour until there are no lumps.
  4. Pour into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 30 mins.

    These are absolutely delicious! I substitute honey for the sugar. The whole pan is gone in no time! I had nuts of any kind to them as well!!! Thank-you for this great receipe!

    I subbed the cane sugar for Splenda. Wanted fewer carbs. Very first Low Carb Sugar Free brownies ever! They were heavenly and so easy to make. I’m sharing this with my FB friends.

          Hi Liane,
          If you’d like to use Stevia or another kind of sugar substitute, I would suggest seeing if the brand you’re using has a conversion chart on the package or online that may help you determine the correct quantity to use since baking with liquid or dry sugar replacers can require different amounts and can vary by brand. Please note that you will need to add something to add moisture to the recipe to compensate for the moisture lost in the sugar you’re replacing; yogurt or mashed banana may be a good choice.
