Instructions
  1. Bring water and baking soda to a boil and preheat oven to temp listed on package (425°F).
  2. Follow the directions for pizza crust on the package. *INCLUDING preheating oven to recommended temperature.*
  3. When dough is ready, break off pieces between the size of a large marble and a golf ball. Roll into a ball and set aside. Do this until all the dough is rolled into balls.
  4. Add the dough balls to boiling water in small to medium batches, depending on the size of your pot. Boil for about 2 minutes.
  5. Place boiled dough on greased or nonstick cookie sheet, brush on melted butter and sprinkle with pretzel salt.
  6. Bake until golden brown, let cool a few minutes and serve.
Recipe Notes

Variation - 1, skip the salt, and coat in cinnamon-sugar for a sweet variety.

Variation - 2 roll dough around a small piece of cheese for stuffed pretzels.
