Chocolate Peanut Butter Granola

If you love peanut butter with your chocolate as much as I do, this is a granola I know you are going to love. Like pretty  much everything else, homemade granola is so much better than store bought, and making granola at home is fast and easy.   1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Add cocoa powder and salt to oats.
  3. In a small saucepan combine the peanut butter, brown sugar, coconut oil, and maple syrup.
  4. Warm over med-low heat just until the peanut butter becomes smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla, and pour peanut butter mixture over the oats, and mix well.
  6. Spread oats on a lined baking sheet (use either parchment or a silpat mat).
  7. Bake granola for 30 minutes stirring at least twice to prevent burning while it bakes.
  8. Cool completely before storing in a airtight container.
