  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add bulgur, flaxseed and onions. Stir until bulgur is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
  2. Stir in tomato, chicken broth, salt and Italian seasonings. Cover, bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer approximately 15 minutes or until all the broth is absorbed. Fluff Pilaf with fork. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

    Tried this recipe but didn’t have tomatoes so I used roasted red peppers and 1/2 tsp of Italian herbs. Also, I added some mushrooms because I happened to have some left over and it was excellent.
