  1. Mix the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Melt butter in a microwave or gently on the stove. Cool for a few seconds before mixing with milk and eggs.
  3. Mix wet ingredients - milk, eggs and melted butter in a bowl until blended.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into hot, oiled waffle iron and sprinkle berries over the liquid batter. Close the lid and cook per your waffle iron's instructions.
Recipe Notes

It's hard to tell that these waffles are gluten free as they are very light and fluffy. This is a great base recipe for adding fruit such as blueberries or banana slices to or savory ingredients such as Jarlsberg cheese and herbs.

Please note: This recipe requires the use of our Gluten Free All Purpose Baking Flour. Using our Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour may result in a poor end product.
