  1. In a mixing bowl blend all dry ingredients together including herbs and salt; add oil, milk (or water if using) and egg. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into hot stock or stew. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Also good with ham hocks.



    Makes about 8 dumplings.

    These were great. I am a Type 1 diabetic who does not eat gluten , so this was a nice treat for me and my family enjoyed them as well. I made a double recipe and had a little batter left over, so I thinned it a bit and fried it up into little flat bread crackers. Thanks.
