  1. In a saucepan combine all ingredients. Bring to a rolling boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour or until tender. Drain and set aside to cool, or serve immediately.

    I tried to make this recipe but ran into a problem. It seems there is too much water relative to the amount of wheat berries in the recipe, please advise?

      This recipe does have a significant amount of water in comparison to the wheat berries. The excess water, at the end of cooking, is to be drained off.
