  1. Rinse, drain and pick through sorghum. Combine 3 cups water or stock and 1 cup Sorghum in a pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and let simmer until tender, about 50 – 60 minutes. Drain any excess water.



    Cooked Yield: 2 ½ cups (approx 2/3 cup per serving).

    Makes 4 servings.

    I followed these instructions and continued cooking the grain in an attempt to soften it to no avail! My husband needs soft foods. If I soak overnight will that help soften it?
