  1. Stove top cooking instructions:



    To cook as a hot breakfast cereal, just bring 3 cups of water and 1/2-tsp salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Creamy Brown Rice Farina and turn heat down. Cook for about 5 - 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Don't overcook. Serve with honey (or brown sugar), milk and raisins, if you like. Serves 4.





    Single serving instructions:



    Bring 3/4-cup water to a boil. Add 1/4-cup Creamy Brown Rice Farina and a pinch of salt, reduce heat and let cook to desired consistency, 5 - 8 minutes. Yields about 2/3 cup. Serves 1.





    Microwave cooking instructions:



    In a large bowl, combine 1/4-cup Creamy Brown Rice Farina, 3/4-cup water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on high for 3 - 5 minutes, stirring often. Let rest 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.





    Slow cooker instructions:



    Combine 1 cup Creamy Brown Rice Farina, 1/2 tsp salt and 3 cups water in the container of the slow cooker. Cover and let cook on low heat for about 2-1/2 hours. Serves 4.
