  1. Bring 3 cups of Apple Cider and salt to a boil then add Steel Cut Oats.
  2. Reduce heat to a low simmer. Cover and cook 10-20 minutes (depending on how chewy you like the oats). Stir Occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and let stand covered for a few minutes. Top with fruit and nuts and sprinkle with sugar. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

*For a low sugar option, use 1-1/2 cups apple cider and 1-1/2 cups water.

    3 cups of Apple Cider vinegar is waaaaay too much, as is 1 1/2 cups (which is the amount I used in the recipe). Apple Cider vinegar does give the oatmeal an added element of flavour. I recommend no more than 1 cup apple cider vinegar to 2 cups of water.
