Wheat Roast

A vegetarian roast that does great with potatoes and gravy.

  • 1 Dash Liquid Smoke
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1-1/4 c. Water
  • 1/4 cup Tamari (or Soy Sauce)
  • 2 cups Vital Wheat Gluten

Directions

Combine all ingredients except Gluten Flour in mixing bowl and stir to blend. Add Gluten Flour. Stir with heavy spoon. Finish mixing with your hands. Pat into a roast shape and place in lightly oiled roasting pan or bread pan. Bake at 325°F for one hour. Makes 16 slices of Wheat Roast.
