Basic Cooking Instructions for Corn Grits

These instructions are printed on the label of Corn Grits/Polenta. Gluten Free*, Lactose Free, Low Cal, Low Fat, No Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan. Net Carbs = 25g.


Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Corn Grits and reduce heat. Cook slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cover and let stand for a couple minutes. This will make enough for four generous helpings.

Thanks so much! I have only cooked "quick grits"(white), and just got a 5 lb. Bag of yellow non quick(regular). I am also interested in a polenta chilled "loaf " that I have seen in the past which I've seen sliced and fried...If you have one I wouldlove it if you'd pass it on!

These grits are delicious. I am allergic to GMO grits and
