Gluten Free Brownie Mix Instructions

The basic instructions to make the brownies.

  • 3/4 cup Water warm (110°F - 115°F)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Unsalted Butter melted (or margarine)
  • 3 cups GF Brownie Mix

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking or baking spray. Place Bob's Red Mix Gluten Free Brownie Mix (one 21-oz package) in large mixing bowl.

Beat in butter or margarine, egg, vanilla and warm water with electric mixer on medium speed until just combined.

Stir in 1/4 cup chocolate chips and/or 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional).

Spread batter in prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool brownies thoroughly. Cut and serve. Makes 16 brownies.

*You can use 1/4 cup Applesauce or blended Silken Tofu as an egg replacement.

FUDGE TOPPING
1-14 oz. can sweetened Condensed Milk
1 ½  tsp. Vanilla Extract
12 oz. Chocolate Chips

When your brownies are nearly done, combine all topping ingredients in heavy saucepan over low heat until chocolate chips are melted. Remove from heat. Spread mixture over warm brownies. Allow brownies to cool and then cut into bars.

My mom made this recipe. They're incredible. Definitely some room to tweak (I want to try a protein variant) but these are absolutely delicious. Thanks Bob's Red Mill.

Love these brownies! They are as good, possibly even better than regular brownies. They're light, fluffy, and melt in your mouth.

Whether you make them yourself or buy them already made at Bob's Red Mill... these are one of the most delicious gluten free treats you could ever have.

I made these, replacing the egg with half of an avocado and the butter with coconut oil. Turned out amazing!

I used coconut oil instead of butter and used coconut milk to make the frosting instead of the canned milk. They are awesome!

If you use salted butter in place of unsalted butter, it will simply add a saltier flavor to your baked goods.

I am just now exploring your recipes and notice that many call for "unsalted" butter. If I were to use regular salted butter what would be the outcome? Thanks!

These are absolutely wonderful and delicious!! I used some Betty Crocker Hershey's frosting that I had on hand as I didn't have the condensed milk and chocolate chips. These brownies don't even need a frosting, they are just plain good.
