Plain Refrigerator Cookies

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a cookie sheet, set aside.
In bowl, sift dry ingredients together.

In another bowl cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat until smooth. Add sifted dry ingredients, slowly. Shape/roll dough into 2" in diameter log.

Roll dough log in waxed paper; chill in refrigerator until firm.

Cut into uniform slices about 3/16" thick using a sharp knife.

Bake on prepared cookie sheet 8-10 minutes or until nicely brown. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack.

Makes approximately 3 dozen.
