Basic Cooking Instructions for Gluten Free Sorghum Grain

These instructions are printed on the label of Gluten Free Sorghum Grain. Whole Grain! Gluten Free, High Fiber, Lactose Free, Low Fat, No Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan.

Directions

Rinse, drain and pick through sorghum. Combine 3 cups water or stock and 1 cup Sorghum in a pot with a tight-fitting lid. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and let simmer until tender, about 50 – 60 minutes. Drain any excess water.

Cooked Yield: 2 ½ cups (approx 2/3 cup per serving).
Makes 4 servings.
