Wonderful Oats

Contender for the 2012 Spar for the Spurtle. This recipe was not tested by Bob’s Red Mill.

  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 cup Steel Cut Oats *
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Directions

Step 1

Bring the water to boil and add the steel cut oats.Reduce heat to simmer and cover. Cook for 20 minutes,stiring every few minutes.

Step 2

Remove from heat and add the cheeses,salt and black pepper.
