Newfoundland Porridge

Contender for the 2012 Spar for the Spurtle. This recipe was not tested by Bob’s Red Mill.

Directions

Step 1

In cast iron sauce pan, melt a little butter. After melting add liquid. Add currants after the liquid simmers.

Step 2

Add oats after the mixture comes to a boil. Turn down stove and stir occasionally until you cannot wait any longer.

Makes one man size porridge recipe.

Notes
