Davy Crockett No-Bake Cookies

This super tasty and kid-friendly recipe was developed with help from Gail Quail. Great with a big cold glass of milk. Gluten Free*, Lactose Free*, Low Cal, Soy Free, Vegan*.

Directions

Step 1

Combine sugar, cocoa powder, butter, milk and flaxseed meal and bring to a boil, stirring often. Let boil for 2 minutes. KIDS - Let an adult perform this step.

Step 2

Remove from heat and immediately stir in oats and seeds.

Step 3

Portion onto wax paper lined cookie sheets, about 2 Tbsp per cookie, and shape by hand as desired. Let cool until dry to touch, about 1 hour.

Makes 24 cookies.

These are great! They taste like a dark chocolate no bake. I omitted the hemp seed, but I had some dried cherries on hand, so I threw those in. Delicious and satisfying!

Excellent !!!!! But added almond butter to make it all stick together.
