DirectionsStep 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and lightly grease an 11X7-inch baking pan with oil.Step 2Combine flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, baking powder and baking soda in a large bowl.Step 3Bring 1 cup water to boil in small saucepan. Turn off heat and whisk in agave nectar, apple sauce, canola oil and lemon zest and juice. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and stir until well incorporated.Step 4In a small bowl, combine flaxseed meal with 1/4 cup water. Whisk vigorously until frothy and then fold into oat mixture.Step 5Reserve small portion (roughly 2 Tbs total) of fruit, nuts, and cereal and set aside for topping. Fold remaining fruit, nuts and cereal into the oat mixture.Step 6Pour mixture into prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with flax seeds and the reserved fruit, nuts and cereal. Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.Step 7Allow to cool and cut into 12 bars.
