Dukkah

Middle Eastern spice and nut mix. Serve with bread, fresh veggies and a carafe of good olive oil. Adapted from a recipe by Susan Loomis. Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Low Cal, Low Carb, No Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan.

Directions

Step 1

Over medium heat, toast the sesame seeds in a skillet until golden. Remove from heat and set aside. Repeat with the pumpkin seeds.

If using whole spices, toast each spice separately over medium heat until fragrant, no more than 1 minute.

Step 2

In a food processor or clean coffee/spice grinder, process the whole seeds and spices until ground.

Step 3

And the spices and the hazenut meal and mix to combine.

Serves 20.
