3 Minute Green Pea Soup

Gluten Free, High Fiber, Lactose Free, Low Cal, Low Carb, Low Fat, Low Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan, Vegetarian.

  • 1 Tbsp Green Pea Flour
  • 2 cups Water (hot)
  • 2 tsp Chicken Bouillon or Vegetable Bouillon or Soup Base


In a saucepan, heat water to just about boiling. Reduce heat to medium and whisk in green pea flour and 2 tsp bouillon/base. Cook until the mixture boils, then boil for 2 minutes.

Using a 6-cup microwave bowl, whisk flour and bouillon into hot water. Cook 1 minute on high or until mixture boils. Stir well and cook for 2 additional minutes.

Serves 2

This makes a very thin soup. I recommend doubling the pea flour. For a creamy version, replace the water and bouillon with milk, butter, and grated cheese.
