Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 9" x 9" square cake pan, set aside.
Cream shortening with sugars until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter, vanilla extract, egg and milk and beat well. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat just until well combined. Stir in rolled triticale. Spread into prepared cake pan and bake for 35-37 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Makes 24 bars. |
