Directions
In a heavy, large soup pot saute mushrooms and onion in oil over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add broth, water, pepper and thyme. Reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 5-7 minutes. Stir in rice, simmer 2 minutes.
