Breast of Chicken on Bulgur Wheat

  • 1 cup Water or Milk
  • 1 pkg Dry Onion Soup Mix (1-1/2oz package)
  • 1 can Mushrooms stems & pieces (4oz can)
  • 1 Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 4 Chicken Breast large-sized with Ribs (remove skin)
  • 3/4 cup Golden Bulgur


Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly oil a baking dish (9" x 11"), set aside.

In a mixing bowl, blend soup and milk; measure and set aside 1/2 cup of the soup mixture. To the bowl add the bulgur, mushrooms with liquid and half of the onion soup package. Pour into prepared baking dish and arrange chicken breasts on top. Pour the reserved soup mixture over the chicken and sprinkle with remaining onion soup mix. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
