Doggie Bones (treats for your pet)

This recipe is composed of simple ingredients that everyone can understand, unlike pet food labels! This recipe has not been tested by Bob's Red Mill. Consult your veterinarian before changing your pet's diet.


Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°F. Oil a baking sheet.

Step 2

Combine all dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix all wet ingredients together. Combine dry and wet ingredients mix together well.

Step 3

Roll out into 1/2-inch thick. Cut into strips 1 x 3-inch. Let rise for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Place on well-oiled baking sheet. Baked at 325°F for 20 minutes. Turn off heat and leave in oven for 30 minutes to create a dry and crisp bone.

Makes 24 bones.

Dogs should NOT eat garlic OR salt!!

if i leave out the garlic and salt, will this be suitable for cat treats?
