Spicy Peanut Sauce

This sauce is terrific served with Asian noodles or spaghetti noodles garnished with sliced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

  • 2/3 cup Vegetable Broth or Water as needed
  • 1/8 to 1/4 Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 Tb Nutritional Yeast
  • 1 tsp Freshly Grated Gingerroot
  • 2 cloves Garlic, pressed
  • 2 Tb Sugar
  • 1-2 Tb Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tb Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Smooth Peanut Butter

Directions

Place all ingredients in a blender. Adding just enough liquid to facilitate processing and create a fairly thick sauce.

Process until very smooth and creamy. Serve the sauce at room temperature. Delicious over freshly steamed vegetables, roasted chicken, pasta or raw apple slices.


Makea about 6 servings.
