Easy Spanish Rice

This makes a super easy Spanish Rice by simply using tomato sauce and the bean soup seasoning mix.

Directions

Rinse your dry rice and place in a large pan on the stovetop or in your rice cooker. Add the water, tomato sauce and stir in the seasoning mix. You may cook according to your rice cooker instructions or on the stove top and bring to boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, place lid on top and allow to cook 25-30 minutes.

Variations: Add sautéed chopped onion, garlic, tomatoes or bell peppers and add to your rice when fully cooked. The Spanish Rice can be used as a simple side dish, added to quesadillas or enchiladas, combined with pinto beans, cheese and sour cream for burritos, and more.
