Vegetable Saute & Kasha

  • 1 can Water Chestnuts (from can) sliced
  • 1-3/4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1-3/4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Garlic cloves, peeled & minced
  • 1 Celery large-sized stalk, diced
  • 3 Green Onions diced
  • 2 cups Broccoli Crowns
  • 1 cup Green Peas
  • 2 cups Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cups Sweet Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
  • 3 cups Organic Kasha cooked

Directions

Mix vegetable oil and butter in wok or large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and green onions and sauté lightly until crisp tender.

Add the water chestnuts and sliced veggies cook until crisp tender (do not overcook). Add soy sauce, honey and oyster sauce. Mix well. Add kasha and mix lightly.

Cover; turn off heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
