Vegetable Saute & Kasha

  • 1 - can Water Chestnuts, sliced
  • 1-3/4 Tb Vegetable Oil
  • 1-3/4 Tb Butter
  • 2 cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1 large Celery Stalk, diced
  • 3 Green Onions, diced
  • 2 cups Broccoli Crowns
  • 1 cup Green Peas
  • 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups Sweet Red Pepper, chopped
  • 3 Tb Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tb Honey
  • 1 Tb Oyster Sauce
  • 3 cups cooked Organic Kasha

Directions

Mix vegetable oil and butter in wok or large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and green onions and sauté lightly until crisp tender.

Add the water chestnuts and sliced veggies cook until crisp tender (do not overcook). Add soy sauce, honey and oyster sauce. Mix well. Add kasha and mix lightly.

Cover; turn off heat and let rest for 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately. Makes 8 servings.
