Priscilla's Whole Wheat Bread

This won 1st prize at the 2008 Hood River County Fair.

Directions

Dissolve yeast in ½ cup lukewarm water. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well with yeast. Knead well—about 15 minutes. Cover and let rest until double in bulk. Punch down and divide into 3 portions. Place dough into 3 oiled loaf pans. Let rise ¾ hour. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.  Makes 3 loaves (12 slices each).
