Hemp Burgers


In a food processor, blend tofu. Add the rest of the ingredients except the stuffing and blend until smooth. Put the stuffing in a bowl and pour tofu mixture on top. Mix thoroughly. Form into burger patties and bake on a well greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 325°F. Flip burgers with a spatula and continue baking for another 15 minutes. Makes 8 hemp burgers.
*Bread crumbs may be used instead of the stuffing. More seasoning may be desired with this substitution.

This is the first vegetarian burger recipe that I've ever found that is actually BETTER than beef hamburgers!!

Sometimes you just want a normal type burger (even though veggie burgers are good, too) with all the fixins. This is that burger! We also us this recipe to make meatballs for the kids when we have pasta. This recipe is excellent!!
