Apple Cider Steel Cut Oats

This recipe was not tested by Bob's Red Mill. High Fiber, Lactose Free, Soy Free, Vegan.

Directions

Step 1

Bring the apple cider and salt to a boil.  Add the oats and diced apples, reduce heat and cook 10-20 minutes, depending on how chewy you like your cereal.  Stir occasionally. 

Step 2

Add the walnut pieces and raisins to the pot, cover and let stand a few minutes. Serve with turbinado sugar.

Makes 4 servings.

Notes

*For a low sugar option, use 1-1/2 cups apple cider and 1-1/2 cups water.
