DirectionsStep 1Blend sugar, almond meal & butter in a large bowl. Add vanilla and mix. Add flour a little at a time, mix on slow speed.Step 2Form dough into a horn shape by rolling small bits (about 1 tablespoon size) between palms of hand, then shaping into a crescent.Step 3Bake at 350°F until lightly brown (about 10-15 minutes depending on oven). Dust with powdered sugar. Enjoy!Makes 3 dozen "horns". |

I am going to try using erythratol (sp?) instead of sugar.
Whats your opinion on that? However Im amazed to see how low in carbs it is w/sugar. Am having guests in March and want to do a few carbs since there will be a big lack of bread, pasta and rice. |
