Gluten Free Chocolate Waffles

Decadently delicious, these chocolate waffles were created by Jeff from, a blog writer and customer of Bob's Red Mill.


Serves 4

• Preheat waffle iron.

• Mix the Gluten Free All Purpose Flour, flaxseed meal, brown rice flour, arrowroot starch, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, sugar and salt together well in a mixing bowl.

• Beat the eggs together in a separate bowl, then add milk and butter (or vegetable oil). Blend wet ingredients into the dry mixture, mix together well. (If it's too dry you can add a bit more milk.)

• Pour the batter into your pre-heated waffle iron, according to the waffle iron directions.

• Serve with butter and syrup (or honey), or hot fruit, or chocolate and powdered sugar! Depending on how decadent your feeling! Enjoy!

dear chocolate waffle eaters this is a gluten free treat not to miss. the way we made it was we doubled the recipe and a few pointers are PUT OIL ON THE GRIDDLE,THIS IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT OTHERWISE CERTAIN DOOM WILL COME TO YOUR WAFFLES.

We made these as pancakes, and they were great! Fluffy and tasty! Worth a shot.
