Basic Cooking Instructions for Basmati Brown Rice

These instructions are printed on the label of Basmati Brown Rice. Slow Cooker. Whole Grain! Gluten Free*, Lactose Free, Low Fat, Low Sugar, Soy Free, Vegan. Net Carbs = 32g.

Stovetop

Slow Cooker**

  • 1 cup Basmati Brown Rice
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tsp Salt (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter (or Margarine)

Directions

Stovetop

Combine 1 cup Bob\\\'s Red Mill Long Grain Basmati Brown Rice and 2 1/2 cups water in sauce pan with tight-fitting cover. Bring to a boil over high heat, stir once or twice, cover. Reduce heat and simmer 45-55 minutes until tender.

Slow Cooker**

Place all ingredients together in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
