Kamut Country Casserole

  • 2 cups Organic Kamut Berries
  • 1 tsp 1/2 Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Celery, diced
  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (8oz)
  • 1/3 cup Water
  • 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Catsup
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 2 tsp prepared Mustard
  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef

Directions

Brown ground beef and and seasoned salt; drain. Saute onions and celery in canola oil until transparent; drain and mix with browned meat. Mix together tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, catsup, vinegar, sea salt, mustard and blend well. Add meat mixture and cooked Kamut and mix. Bake in 350° degree oven for 1 hour in greased, covered casserole dish. Very tasty!  Makes 9 servings.
