Basic Cooking Instructions for Millet Grits / Meal

Stovetop:

For delicious and nutritious hot Millet Grits, bring 3 cups water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil. Add 1 cup of Bob's Red Mill Millet Grits/ Meal and reduce heat. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with milk and honey and add fruits and nuts as desired. Makes four servings.

It is a nice alternative to traditional grits. I also add dried fruit as an extra to the taste.

The cooking works much better if you use a double boiler.
