Directions
1. Preheat oven to 400°.
2. In large bowl, combine flours, flaxseed, rolled barley, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles cornmeal. Stir in raisins. 3. With fork, stir in milk and eggs just until moistened. 4. Divide dough in half and with lightly floured hands, pat out each portion onto greased baking sheet, forming circles 1/2-inch thick. Lightly score each circle into quarters. 5. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 8 scones. |
