Coconut Country Biscuits

When you take a bite of these flaky biscuits, you won't be able to stop thinking of all the ways you can eat them!


Preheat oven to 450°F. Combine dry ingredients. Cut butter into flour mixture until it resembles small peas. Stir in buttermilk to form soft dough. Place mixture on top of wax paper and press to 1 inch thickeness.  Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter and place on a greased baking sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes.  Makes 9 biscuits.

These biscuits came out like little hockey pucks, crumbly not flaky, I followed the recipe exactly as it says. I tried this recipe again but this time added a little more milk and an egg to hold it together, they were great!

I'm sorry our Coconut Country Biscuits recipe did not work out for you. If we continue to receive complaints about this recipe, we will retest it when time permits.

Same results as other review. Very dry and crumbly. Maybe an egg and more buttermilk. Coconut flour is very thirsty !
