Basic Cooking Instructions for Whole Hull-less Barley

Prepare as a side dish and serve as you would potatoes or rice.

Directions

In a medium sized pot, bring water and barley to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes. If you desire larger, softer barley, continue to simmer for an additional 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Yield: 3 cups of cooked barley.
