Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a large bowl, combine mix with water, butter, and egg. Stir just until mixed (do not over mix). Divide mixture in half. Turn out onto a floured work surface and pat into two 6" discs. Place on a greased baking sheet about 1" apart. Cut each circle into 6 wedges. Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Variations: *Make "drop scones" by 1/4 cup measure onto a greased baking sheet about 1" apart.
