Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, beat margarine and brown sugar at medium speed until creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cereal, baking powder, and salt. Stir into wet ingredients until moistened. Stir in chips and nuts. Spread batter into greased 9”x 9”x 2” baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack; cut into squares. Dust with confectioners’ sugar if desired. Makes 20 servings. |
