DirectionsStep 1Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease one large baking sheet.Step 2Combine first five ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. In a separate bowl, cream the butter, sugar, honey, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Add the dry ingredients and mix well.Step 3Divide the dough into two equal pieces. Roll and shape each ball of dough into a 12-inch log, place 4-5-inches apart on baking sheet and flatten slightly.Bake for 20-25 minutes or until firm. When cool, cut logs diagonally into 1/2-inch slices. Place slices on baking sheet 1/2-inch apart and return to oven for 10-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Makes 12 biscotti. |
