Directions
1. Follow basic bean recipe for cooking raw beans.
2. Cook bacon in nonstick skillet until almost cooked, but not crispy. Drain on paper towels. 3. Combine bacon and all remaining ingredients in 4 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours or until onions are tender and mixture is thickened. Remove bay leaf before serving. Makes 12 servings. |
