New England Baked Beans in Slow Cooker

This is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  • 1/3 cup Diced Tomatoes, drained
  • 4 slices lean Raw Bacon, chopped
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 Tb Brown Sugar
  • 3 Tb Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tb Molasses
  • 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 Bay Leaves (Premium Hand Selected)
  • 6 cups cooked Great Northern Beans

Directions

1. Follow basic bean recipe for cooking raw beans.

2. Cook bacon in nonstick skillet until almost cooked, but not crispy. Drain on paper towels.

3. Combine bacon and all remaining ingredients in 4 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours or until onions are tender and mixture is thickened. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Makes 12 servings.
